I have apparently been taking pictures of food for a long time. This is from 2 years ago…

You can tell a lot about a person when looking at their breakfast/lunch/dinner layout. There’s certain characteristics that you cant formulate words for but they’re there. All I know is I like this one.

Therefore I like this person :)

Cloudy - [klou-dee] adjective, cloud·i·er, cloud·i·est.

1. full of or overcast by clouds: a cloudy sky.

2. having little or no sunshine: a cloudy but rainless day.

I’d like some rain today. Unlike the common moan when there’s a cloudy day - I happen to like them. Especially if rain follows. The sound. That light, unobtrusive noise against my window is just pure bliss. And the smell. Earthy and crisp. It’s called “Petrichor”. Which doesnt really sound as good as it smells, right?

The word is composed from the Greek word “petra” which means “stone” & “ichor” which is the “fluid that flows in the veins of the gods in Greek mythology.” Now that, my dear friends, is pretty cool. The Australian guys who coined the term, Bear & Thomas, redeemed themselves decently I think.
